THE CENTER FOR FACIAL RECONSTRUCTION

This New York Head & Neck Institute "center of excellence" focuses on the full range of craniofacial reconstructive techniques, and represents one of the foremost such centers in the United States. Our faculty members are internationally acknowledged for their capabilities in the treatment of acquired craniofacial skeletal deformities, reconstruction following oral and facial cancer, facial trauma and fracture repair, Moh's defect repair, facial paralysis rehabilitation, and much more. They are also world-recognized experts in the care of facial vascular tumors and birthmarks. Their expertise ranges from simple scar revision, to the most complex reconstructive procedures currently performed anywhere in the United States. Specifically, we are very proud of the fact that The Center for Facial Reconstruction is one of the very few sites in the United States vetted at the hospital, organ donor network, and State Department of Health levels for facial tissue transplantation. A multidisciplinary approach is used to comprehensively address facial disfigurement, and provide the highest quality care for our patients. To further this goal, multidisciplinary consultations are scheduled for any new patient so as to comprehensively review their condition, to discuss goals of treatment, and to ultimately set forth a coordinated plan of care
